Past events

On the 14th of December we had the pleasure of Anthony Roberts performing A Christmas Carol as a fundraising event for the centre!
In September 2019 we were joined by Eastern Angles theatre company were they performed the wonderful Food Wars in our small hall!
On the 19th of December we were lucky enough to be joined by Samantha from the Colchester Archaeology Trust and she gave an illustrated talk on Saturnalia. We hope to host more history and archaeology themed events in the new year.
On Mondays we host a regular Craft Cafe – entry is free and it runs from 10:30-12
Here is our group creating a piece of art now on display in the small hall .
This November we also had the privilege of hosting an exhibition of No Hands John’s art work – funds raised from the exhibition will be donated to charity.
In October we hosted a Merz Street Art exhibition up in Room 6 – if you would be interested in holding your own exhibition please get in touch!
Our second exhibition in our newly allocated gallery space Room 6 was the work of local artist Roger Hamer.
The first exhibition we held was ‘Fear, Stress, Disorder, and other such fun’ the works of local artist Jack Reid Bunney.
